 | 1986 -- Palmer is surprised to find a camera crew waiting on the
third hole at the TPC at Avenel, the same hole he'd aced the day before
during the Chrysler Cup Pro-Am. Palmer asked why the attention. The
crew responded, "We're here to film you getting a hole-in-one." Palmer
told them they were a day late, then proceeds to use the same 5 iron to
again ace the hole, becoming the only professional golfer known to have
aced the same hole on consecutive days. Palmer jokes, "I guess I'll
have to dig this hole up and take it home."
